At Venda Ravioli, we're committed to delivering our authentic Italian products to your door with care. Please review our shipping policy below to understand delivery times, costs, and special handling for different product types.


Shipping Schedule

Perishable Items (Fresh/Frozen Pasta & Ravioli): Ship Monday-Wednesday only
Non-Perishable Items (Gift Baskets, Sauces, Oils, Dry Goods): Ship Monday-Thursday
Gift Cards: Process and ship daily

Orders placed after these cutoff days will be processed on the next available shipping day.


Shipping Overview

We ship nationwide across the United States. Shipping costs and delivery times vary based on your location and the type of products in your order.

Product Categories

Our products fall into three main shipping categories, each with specific handling requirements:

Perishable Items - Fresh and frozen pasta, ravioli, and other refrigerated products
Gift Baskets - Curated Italian gift baskets with specialty items
Standard Items - Shelf-stable products including sauces, oils, and dry goods
Gift Cards - Digital and physical gift cards


Perishable Items Shipping

What's Included

  • Fresh pasta (ravioli, tortellini, gnocchi)
  • Frozen entrees
  • Fresh cheese and meats
  • Any refrigerated products

Important Information

Shipping Days: Perishable items ship Monday through Wednesday only to ensure freshness and prevent weekend delays in transit.

Packaging: All perishable items are packed in insulated coolers with dry ice or gel packs to maintain proper temperature during shipping.

Delivery Time: Most perishable shipments arrive within 1-3 business days depending on your location.

Monday-Wednesday Cutoff: Orders placed after Wednesday will be processed and shipped the following Monday to ensure optimal freshness.

Upon Delivery

  • Inspect your package immediately upon arrival
  • Refrigerate or freeze items promptly according to product labels
  • Some condensation in the cooler is normal and does not affect product quality
  • If you notice any issues with product temperature or condition, contact us within 24 hours


Gift Basket Shipping

Our Italian gift baskets are carefully curated and packaged to arrive in perfect condition.

Packaging

Gift baskets are available in three sizes, each with dimensional shipping to ensure safe delivery:

  • Small Baskets
  • Medium Baskets
  • Large Baskets

Delivery Time: Standard ground shipping: 3-7 business days depending on destination

Special Handling

Due to the size and delicate nature of gift baskets, dimensional shipping surcharges may apply. The exact shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based on your location.


Standard Shipping

Shelf-Stable Products including sauces, olive oils, vinegars, cookies, and other dry goods ship via standard ground service.

Shipping Days: Monday through Thursday
Delivery Time: 3-7 business days
Packaging: Securely packed to prevent damage during transit


Gift Cards

Physical Gift Cards: Ship via USPS First Class Mail (3-5 business days)
Digital Gift Cards: Delivered instantly via email


Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Your delivery address
  • Product weight and dimensions
  • Product category (perishable items require special handling)
  • Selected shipping method

We use real-time carrier rates to provide you with the most accurate shipping costs.


Order Processing Time

Perishable Orders: Processed and shipped Monday-Wednesday only
Non-Perishable Orders: Processed and shipped Monday-Thursday
Standard Processing: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days
Holiday Periods: Please allow additional processing time during peak seasons

Note: Orders placed after the shipping cutoff will be processed on the next available shipping day.


Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can track your package through the carrier's website using the provided tracking number.


Shipping Restrictions

Geographic Restrictions

We currently ship within the United States only. At this time, we do not ship to:

  • APO/FPO addresses
  • P.O. Boxes (for perishable items)
  • Alaska and Hawaii (perishable items may have restrictions due to extended transit times)

Perishable Item Restrictions

Due to the sensitive nature of perishable products, we cannot guarantee delivery to extremely remote locations or areas requiring extended transit times (3+ days). If you have questions about deliverability to your area, please contact us before ordering.


Damaged or Lost Packages

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the damaged packaging and products
  2. Contact us within 24 hours at contact@vendaravioli.com or 401-421-9105
  3. We'll work with you to resolve the issue promptly

Lost Packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven't received it:

  1. Check with neighbors and building management
  2. Verify the delivery address
  3. Contact us within 48 hours and we'll investigate with the carrier

Perishable Items

For perishable items, we require notification within 24 hours of delivery for quality concerns. Please include photos when contacting us.


Temperature Concerns

What if my perishable items arrive warm?

While we take every precaution to ensure products remain frozen during transit, occasional issues can occur. If products arrive thawed but still cold (below 40°F), they are safe to refreeze according to USDA guidelines.

If products arrive warm or you have concerns about quality, please contact us immediately with photos. We stand behind our products and will work to make it right.


Refused or Undeliverable Packages

Perishable Items: Due to the time-sensitive nature of perishable products, refused or undeliverable packages cannot be reshipped. Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate delivery information is provided.

Non-Perishable Items: Returned packages due to incorrect addresses may be subject to additional shipping charges for reshipment.


International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer international shipping. We ship within the United States only.
